Morfitt Smiths gave the highest valuation…In Sept 2024 we wanted to sell a house which had been trashed as a rental and we had 3 estate agents visit. Morfitt Smiths gave the highest valuation which turned out to be exactly right. The low cost online agent suggested 12k less and their support would have been much less. Another well known Sheffield agent had great difficulty in actually turning up and then would not put it on their normal listing and said modern auction was the only way they would market it. They valued it 17k less and the buyer would have to pay the 7k cost. Morfitt Smith proved to be the best estate agent we have ever used. Throughout the process they did what they said they were going to do. The marketing information was produced quickly and professionally and it was put on Right Move within a couple of days. We had 23 viewings in 10 days with 12 offers. These were carefully checked and reduced to 5 potential who gave final offers. The sale was agreed within 2 weeks and completed 8 weeks later. Kept fully informed throughout. We have bought and sold many houses in our lives and can honestly say Morfitt Smith are by far the best we have dealt with. Tony & Julie

Our valuation and house photos experience was brilliant. We got an offer on our house so quickly and the team were brilliant in helping us manage all the viewings when it went on the market and thr sealed bids afterwards - the online tracker was also so helpful! Karen was always available to provide an update and chase as needed as the sale progressed and was always so friendly and lovely to talk to. She also recommend us a brilliant solicitors. We hoped to be moved by December and were in our new home by the end of October, what more could you ask for! We would definitely recommend Morfitt Smith and would certainly use them again if we move again. Thanks so much!

As someone dealing with a very challenging first-time buyer, John kept me calm, well informed, and reassured at every stage. He was always happy to answer questions and took the time to explain things clearly whenever I needed it, which made a stressful process much easier to manage. Viewings were communicated clearly by both text and email (perhaps the reminders weren’t always needed, but it’s far better to be over-informed than under-informed!). Fees were very competitive compared to other estate agents, and the service felt excellent value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Morfitt Smith to anyone looking to sell their home, and I would happily use them again in the future.
